Community and Lived Experience Advisory Group
Community and Lived Experience Advisory Group
The Justice Health Group benefits from a national Community and Lived Experience Advisory Group (CLEAG), which convenes six times each year to provide expert advice and guidance for our work. CLEAG members come from diverse professional and personal backgrounds. Members of the CLEAG who have lived experience of incarceration are reimbursed for their time in accordance with the National Mental Health Commission’s Paid Participation Policy.
Nothing about us without us
Funding for the CLEAG is generously provided by the enAble Institute, Curtin University. Just like the enAble Institute, the Justice Health Group has a deep commitment to working in partnership with communities and lived experience experts, in all that we do.
The Justice Health Group was officially launched on 19th February 2024. The launch commenced with a Welcome to Country by CLEAG member Aunty Marie Pryor, and featured a brief welcome message from some of our CLEAG members, introduced by CLEAG member Lorraine Pryor, founder of Voice of Hope Aboriginal Corporation.
